Why does Tunisia represent a strategic lever for European industrialists?

Faced with increased global competition on the one hand, and the continual increase in industrial costs in Europe (energy, logistics, wages, etc.) on the other, the adoption of strategic choices is becoming increasingly necessary in order to meet these challenges. The redeployment of industrial resources by establishing a production site in a country with high potential and close to Europe such as Tunisia is proving to be an effective solution to meet these constraints, while significantly and sustainably reducing industrial costs.

Indeed, Tunisia offers many advantages for European manufacturers: geographical proximity, low costs and availability of labor and qualified engineers, often multilingual population, particularly French-speaking, agreements and historical links between Tunisia and Europe, presence of industrial ecosystems: infrastructures, industrial zones, specialized ports for the transport of goods, logistics, etc.

The choice to establish a production site in Tunisia not only ensures the sustainability of the European company, but also provides the opportunity to develop further with the acquisition of new markets by having gained considerably in competitiveness.
